Medical Criteria

Our client's safety is our #1 priority. Therefore, you are considered ineligible to receive a permanent makeup service, if any of the conditions or contraindications listed below apply to you.

  • Under 18 years of age (proof of age required)

  • Experiencing cold, flu, and/or covid-19 symptoms

  • Active cancer; or received radiation or chemotherapy within the last 12 months

  • Active eczema, psoriasis, acne, dermatitis, rosacea, or any other skin disorder in the brow area

  • Have lesions, wounds, pimples, bruises, infections, rashes, blisters, and/or sunburn in brow area

  • Liver disease

  • Platelet and/or bleeding disorder

  • Received an organ transplant

  • Uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • Heart conditions (pacemaker, mitral valve prolapse, etc)

  • Transmittable blood conditions such as HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis

  • Autoimmune conditions (physician approval required)

  • Taking blood thinning medications (physician approval required)

  • Diabetic (physician approval required)

  • MRSA

  • Healing disorders

  • Susceptible to infections

  • Prone to keloids

  • Excessive scar tissue in the brow area

  • Experienced post inflammatory hyperpigmentation

  • Used Accutane, Retinol, Retin-A, or steroids within the last 12 months

  • Used hair growth serum on brows within the last 3 months

  • Received chemical peel, microdermabrasionfacial, AHA/BHA product, glycolic, Botox, filler, and/or Dysport within the last 4 weeks

  • Received antibiotics within the last 3 weeks

  • Epilepsy or experienced faint spells or seizures

  • Allergies to traditional topical makeup, ingredients in pigments, anesthetics, and/or any other products used during the procedure

  • Piercings or hair transplant in the brow area

***Extremely sensitive/vascular, translucent and/or transparent skin will need to be evaluated prior to booking an appointment

***Experts recommend to avoid PMU procedures for two (2) weeks before and after receiving a covid-19 vaccine/booster to prevent potential adverse reactions.

Clients that require physician approval, MUST submit a copy of a signed doctor's note  AT LEAST 24 HOURS prior to their scheduled appointment. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your appointment, and forfeiture of your deposit.
