Excessive bleeding caused by consuming caffeine, alcohol, or blooding thinning medications prior to appointment. Poor pigment retention will be expected as the excess bleeding will potentially push out the pigment during the procedure.

AfterCare
All kits include (1) tube of brow cleanser, (1) tube of brow ointment, (1) shower visor, (5) no-lint cotton rounds and (1) instruction card.
Day 1-2
You may or may not experience lymph fluid drainage.
-
Keep the procedure area dry by gently blotting with clean gauze or no-lint cotton rounds.
**Avoiding this step can result in hardening of the lymph fluid. This will suffocate the skin, and impede the healing process (possibly causing infection)**
Day 1-14
-
Gently wash brows with cool water and a mild cleanser/soap twice a day (AM & PM). Wash in the direction of the hair flow. Completely rinse with cool water, and then pat dry with clean tissue.
-
Apply a thin layer (rice grain) of ointment after washing twice a day (AM & PM). DON'T overly saturate the area with ointment. NEVER apply ointment to wet brows.
Additional Important Tips During Healing
ALWAYS care for your brows with CLEAN hands to prevent infection.
ALWAYS use a CLEAN pillowcase (preferably satin or silk), and AVOID sleeping on your face/brows.
DON'T use a washcloth or anything abrasive while washing (preferably use your finger tips).
Keep bangs/hair away from face to help prevent infection.
DON'T pick/pull scabs or scratch your brows. Let scabs naturally fall off.
AVOID getting your brows wet (even while showering). The only exception is twice a day while cleaning them.
NO steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, hot showers, pools, lakes/rivers, sweaty exercise, etc. Limit your time in the shower as this may produce steam.
AVOID direct sunlight. Wear a sun visor or brimmed hat while outdoors. NO tanning beds for 4 weeks after procedure.
DON'T put ANYTHING on your brows (except ointment as instructed) including but not limited to makeup, lotions, sunscreen, etc.
NO brow tinting for 2-3 weeks after procedure. NO hair grow serums on your brows for 5 weeks after procedure.
NO skin treatments or injectables for 4 weeks after procedure.
**Brows are considered "healed" once all scabs have formed and fallen off**
Day 1
Your brows will look perfect.
Day 2-4
Your brows will look noticeably larger and darker. Don't panic because this is normal. Your brows will ultimately shrink, soften, and lighten up about 30-40%.
Day 5-7
You'll start to develop scabbing and flaking. Your brows may even begin to itch. DON'T SCRATCH OR PICK YOUR SCABS!
Day 8-10
Your brows will become very light, almost as if they're gone. This is also normal.
Day 11-14
Your brows will reappear as the color returns. (They still might be patchy or uneven).
Follow-up Appointment
Your final look will be complete.
