Things to Consider Before Getting Permanent Makeup
Permanent makeup is an art, and not an exact science. PMU aims to enhance natural features. It is essential to approach your appointment with realistic expectations as no one's face is entirely symmetrical. Even though we strive for symmetry, it is unrealistic to expect 100% identical brows since one brow bone will always be different from the other. Remember, "Brows are sisters, not twins!"
While permanent makeup is low maintenance, it still requires routine grooming. You may also need to use a makeup pencil or powder to maintain your new brow's shape and color.
We offer the same service to every client, and your brows are intact when you leave our studio. However, everyone heals and retains pigment differently, so we cannot guarantee healed results since we have no control over how your body heals. Factors that can affect results include but are not limited to aftercare, skin type, blood type, lifestyle, age, health, medications, immune system, metabolism, existing hairs, bone structure, facial muscles, sun exposure, and facial treatments/products used on the skin.
Collaborative Brow Mapping Process for Ombré Brows
At our studio, we believe in working together with our clients to achieve the perfect look. Your artist will involve you in the brow mapping process by showing you each step as she's creating your brow shape. Tattooing will not begin until you've given your final consent.
One of our top priorities is to ensure that you feel both beautiful and comfortable throughout the entire process. However, if you experience extreme anxiety, have a tendency to overthink, struggle with trusting our professional advice, or have severe body or facial dysmorphia, ombré brows are not the best option for you. Please consider a more temporary option such as henna or tint.
Additionally, if you refuse to consider our professional advice at any point during the process, we will immediately discontinue our service. The option to reschedule will be at the discretion of your artist.
